The network spans 12 centres across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and the ACT, delivering advertising options that serve both local businesses and national brands. Managed by our in-house Brand iQ specialists in partnership with oOh!media, the initiative adds small-format screens to our existing large-format digital displays.

The screens are positioned in high-traffic zones throughout flagship destinations including Castle Towers, Canberra Centre, Eastland, Robina Town Centre and Watergardens. These join established installations at neighbourhood centres including Bathurst City, Big Top, Forest Lake, Kippa Ring, Nerang Mall, Pittwater Place and The Village Upper Mt Gravatt that have demonstrated strong performance since launching last year.

Digital solutions for sales growth

This latest investment continues QIC's commitment to digital innovation, following the unveiling of an AI-enabled billboard at Hyperdome in 2023. This approach recognises the evolving nature of physical retail spaces where timely, relevant advertising enhances the shopping experience.

“Our ongoing investment in advertising technology creates value for retailers through increased foot traffic and extended dwell times,” explains Stephen Dewaele, General Manager – Property Management. “When shoppers encounter relevant messaging at the right moment, it enhances their in-centre experience while driving measurable business outcomes for our retail partners.”

The rollout was executed through close coordination with TechMedia and Knox Constructions, with all displays utilising low-power, energy-efficient technology.

Innovation that works for everyone

The network offers flexible advertising solutions for businesses at various stages of growth, from established local retailers building community presence to national brands executing targeted campaigns across multiple centres.

With a six-advertisement loop limit based on industry research showing controlled frequency can boost recall by up to 50 per cent1, every advertiser receives premium visibility regardless of budget.

“We're making it easier for businesses to reach the right customers at the right time,” says Sally Harding, Head of Alternative Income. “Our centres' busiest zones now deliver the local targeting and flexibility required for successful seasonal campaigns, enabling smaller players to compete alongside established brands.”
