Deborah Coakley is the Managing Director of Real Estate at QIC, shaping real estate investment and business strategies to meet the needs and expectations of our investors, partners, and the communities we serve. She has more than 25 years’ experience in management roles gained in organisations such as Dexus, Deloitte, Qantas and Alexander Mann Solutions. Deb is also a National Vice President of the Property Council of Australia and a member of their Capital Markets Division, and a Non-Executive Director of the Children’s Cancer Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Business degree from University of Technology Sydney (BBus) and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). She is based in Sydney.

Luke leads the long-term and tactical leasing of our flagship assets and mixed-use development projects across Australia, maximising yield and optimising the customer experience through a diversified tenant mix. He heads a team responsible for more than AU$100m per year in rental transactions and plays a pivotal role in bringing our town centre strategy to life. He is based in Sydney.

With almost 20 years’ experience in environmental management, community investment and corporate sustainability, Melissa is responsible for providing leadership on ESG strategy and execution across QIC's real estate portfolio, at both a fund and asset level in her role as General Manager – Sustainability. Reporting into the Director of Australian Investment Management, Melissa is a key member of our real estate executive committee. She is based in Melbourne.

General Manager – Asset Creation & Investment Management
Martin oversees the investment management function for our retail and commercial office assets. He is responsible for the establishment and implementation of strategic asset plans, which includes steering the creation of masterplans and development projects. Having joined the business in 2005, Martin has more than 15 years’ experience in asset, development and investment management, and his experience spans a variety of disciplines, markets and development projects, including as project lead on $700m+ worth of retail development at Robina Town Centre. He is based in Brisbane.

Throughout his career, Chris has been dedicated to creating places that enhance the lives of people and communities. With more than 20 years’ experience leading large-scale urban renewal projects, including roles as Head of Development and Executive General Manager Integrated Projects at Lendlease, Chris is a skilled strategist and leader. Responsible for delivering major urban regeneration projects in Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, Chris Brown has extensive experience in masterplanning, development management, project management and construction. He is Cross River Rail Precincts Director for QIC Real Estate, delivering four transformational, above-ground mixed-use precincts at Cross River Rail stations at Albert Street, Woolloongabba, Boggo Road and Roma Street. He is based in Brisbane.

With more than 20 years' experience in the finance, superannuation and property industry, as Director of Strategic Partnerships and Mandates, Briar oversees all mandates and partnerships owned by the Real Estate, as well as Fund Manager for the QIC Property Fund. She is based in Brisbane.

With over 10 years' experience in healthcare infrastructure and real estate, he has experience across both the public and private sectors, and thoroughly understands healthcare real estate's demands and challenges. He is based in Sydney.

As QIC’s Fund Manager – Core Plus Strategies, Charles is responsible for leading the strategic direction of the QIC Active Retail Property Fund (QARP) and the QIC Australia Core Plus Fund (QACPF) in alignment with investor objectives. Charles holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland and is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. He is based in Brisbane.

Michael is responsible for driving the QIC Town Centre Fund’s strategy, capital management and investment performance. Leveraging more than 17 years of funds and asset management and transaction experience, Michael is actively engaged in the initiatives and practices that serve the best interests of QTCF and its investors. Michael holds a Bachelor of Property Economics from the University of Technology Sydney and a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University. He is based in Brisbane.
