Located around 30km from the Sydney CBD, Castle Towers is a powerhouse retail and social hub for the affluent outer-northern suburbs.
As a place where retail, dining, entertainment and neighbourhood culture converge, Castle Towers is one of Australia’s busiest centres and a focal point for urban regeneration of Sydney’s metropolitan fringe. It is also an important transit gateway, with a Northwest metro line station (opened 2019) and bus interchange on the site as well as exceptional road connectivity to the city and Blue Mountains tourism region. The next step in the centre’s evolution will see a range of new business and leisure amenities introduced to serve the wider needs of the rapidly growing Hills district, including proposals for a luxury hotel, A-grade office tower and upscale apartment living by 2030.
Plans filed in 2022 for bold new office and hotel offerings will propel forward the proposed transformation of Castle Towers into a future-ready town centre.
An A-grade commercial tower with exceptional sustainability and wellbeing credentials will draw innovative businesses to Castle Hill, supported by new landscaped gathering spaces and hospitality venues.
Luxury hotel accommodation will bring new round-the-clock vitality to the centre while leveraging its location as a convenient waypoint between the major tourism and events destinations of central Sydney and the Blue Mountains.
Connected via an engaging public realm development, these synergistic additions to the Castle Towers ecosystem are intended to foster local pride and serendipitous social interactions as well as growth opportunities for new and existing retail partners.
QIC has also partnered with experiential company Woodward to develop its first action sports facility outside North America at Castle Towers by 2024. The three-level multi-sport destination will be a drawcard for professional Australian athletes as well as local amateurs of all ages.
