In 2018, cult skincare brand The Ordinary was introduced to Canberra Centre customers when parent company Deciem signed a short-term lease within the Beauty Garden precinct.

Starting with a three-month pop-up store, the no-frills brand immediately resonated with Canberrans, leading Deciem to extend for an additional two months on a casual basis before committing to a three-year lease on a permanent space.

The brand has consistently exceeded monthly sales targets and is now looking to further extend its presence at Canberra Centre, proving the potency of the pop-up approach.
