Promising some of the most exciting food experiences in the capital, Canberra Centre’s new pan-Asian dining destination, Tiger Lane, unveiled its first venue in November with the launch of Japanese Yakiniku and Shabu-shabu restaurant Taki.

Part of a 2000sqm precinct that is set to host a dozen distinct food and drink venues, Tiger Lane will showcase Japanese, South Korean, Chinese and south-east Asian cuisines in a buzzing day-to-night setting. With culinary direction by award-winning executive chef Shaun Presland (ex-Rockpool Group), the concept asserts Canberra Centre’s reputation as the capital’s most compelling dining destination.

Daryl Stubbings, QIC's Director – Australian Investment Management, commented: “As the city and communities of Canberra evolve, the appetite for engaging new-to-market dining experiences is only set to increase. Tiger Lane will help to activate the CBD's night-time economy as well as draw locals and business visitors during the day, cementing the status of Canberra Centre as a dynamic culinary destination while enhancing work life for occupants of the recently remodelled 224 Bunda Street."

Presland’s signature Japanese fusion restaurant, Inari, will open later this month, followed by a further 10 new venues in the first half of 2023, boosting the centre’s already strong appeal for cuisine-loving locals, office workers and visitors.
